In order to deliver these services we have developed strong partnerships with many health associations including NHS Leeds, Chapeltown GP Surgery, Just Fitness, Leeds City Council, Ministry of Food, Change 4 Life, Job Centre, Zest and Feel Good Factor to name a few.
Through working with various, relevant statutory and voluntary organisations, we have opened up the chance to integrate into the wider community; as well as created education and employment related opportunities. We have also catered our services to meet the communities' physical, social, emotional needs and have run cultural/religious training programmes that raise awareness amongst professionals.
Our Food Tools provision has been acknowledged as an important resource for the BME communities for helping with health care and wellbeing.
Reducing Health & Inequality
We provide essential services to the most hard to reach communities that do not have access to facilities until they develop severe or serious health problems.
