This year we have managed to open our early years provision where we are going to provide 15 hours free pre-school nursery for children aged 3 to 4 years old. Our bilingual, fully trained staffs have a great knowledge and understanding of the local communities needs which has helped in establishing our reputation for delivering reliable, quality childcare.
Our Ofsted report was good showing that this aspect of the provision is strong. Our job at Shantona is providing help, support and encouragement to families for participation in childrens learning, helping access different learning activities and understanding the development of children’s needs.
Our future plans are to engage more children into our early years provision and working towards further improving our service offering.
Health Project
We provide services to the most hard to reach communities that do not otherwise have access to facilities until they develop severe or serious health problems. This year we have provided services to the community that improve well-being, promotes healthy choices, gives access to health services and ensures equality in local society.
